The clips fit into a 7mm hole. They are normally used for attaching wheel arch linings, engine bay shields, cowlings and other trim panels. The clip has a centre pin which is pushed in to activate and hold the clip in place. The centre pin can very easily be released with a quarter turn of a screwdriver.
